MSC Status Match lets qualifying travelers bring loyalty status from another cruise line, hotel or tour operator into the MSC Voyagers Club. The application is free, you do not need an existing MSC booking, and approved travelers can begin their first MSC cruise with an established loyalty tier instead of starting from scratch.

Status Match is available to travelers age 18 and older and can only be used once per person. MSC compares your existing benefits with its own loyalty tiers and assigns the closest match. The highest tier currently available through Status Match is Diamond. Blue Diamond cannot be earned through Status Match.

How to Apply (Step-by-Step)

MSC’s application process is simple — but it’s best to complete it before you book your first cruise.

Step 1: Visit the MSC Status Match Page

Head to MSC Cruises’ Status Match Page. The application form takes about five minutes. Note: This is the page for US-based passengers. See below for international links.

Step 2: Enter Your Information

Provide your name, date of birth, email address, and (if you already have one) your Voyagers Club number. If you’re new, MSC will create your account automatically.

Step 3: Upload Proof of Status

Attach a clear image or PDF of your current loyalty card or a recent statement showing your name and tier. Acceptable formats: JPG, PNG, or PDF.`

Step 4: Submit the Application

Click “Submit.” You’ll get a confirmation email. Make sure your proof of status is clear and legible to avoid delays.

Step 5: Wait for Confirmation

Approval usually takes around three business days, though it can take up to ten during busy times. Once processed, your Voyagers Club tier will appear in your account.

Step 6: Book Using Your New Status
