On MSC Meraviglia Class ships, some of the best bar-hopping does not happen out by the pool. It happens in the social heart of the ship – around the atrium and the indoor promenade – where guests gather before dinner, between events, and after the theater lets out.
This cluster of bars gives Meraviglia Class ships a polished, lively, evening feel. Infinity Bar anchors the atrium on Deck 5, while several other cocktail venues are spread around the Galleria on Decks 6 and 7. Together, they create a bar scene that feels more upscale and connected than the typical “grab a drink and move on” setup you find on some ships.
For this guide, I’m focusing on the atrium and promenade cocktail bars. Bamboo Bar fits better with the indoor pool and outdoor bar conversation, even though it sits in a covered space on the ships that have it.
One quick note – while these are cocktail-focused venues, every one of these bars can also handle coffee drinks. So even if you think of them mainly as evening cocktail spots, they can also work as a coffee stop earlier in the day.

Infinity Bar
If you want the bar that feels most like the center of the action, start with Infinity Bar.
Located on Deck 5 at the base of the three-deck atrium, Infinity Bar is the clearest true atrium bar on MSC Meraviglia Class. It’s where most guests will enter the ship during embarkation. This is also where the ship’s evening energy really starts to build. Guests pass through on the way to dinner, the theater, or the next stop in the evening, and that constant flow gives the space an upbeat, social feel.
Infinity Bar has a slightly more formal energy than some of the other bars nearby. The setting helps. It sits near one of the most visually impressive areas on the ship, with the atrium, staircase, and open views giving the whole area a polished feel. On elegant nights and Captain’s Night style evenings, this bar often feels especially busy and alive.
In terms of drinks, Infinity Bar is a classic MSC cocktail stop. Think aperitifs, contemporary classics, and easy crowd-pleasers like an Aperol Spritz before dinner. It is not the most specialized venue on the ship, but it may be the most naturally useful. If you only end up having one drink in the atrium area, this is probably where it happens.

Meraviglia Bar & Lounge, Grandiosa Bar & Lounge, and Euribia Bar & Lounge
If Infinity Bar is the atrium anchor, the Deck 6 Bar & Lounge is the all-around indoor cocktail pick.
Each ship in the class has its own version of this venue tucked into the Galleria, which is the indoor promenade that acts as the social backbone of the ship. This is one of the best places to grab a drink while waiting for dinner, meeting up with friends, or just soaking in the atmosphere of the ship at night.
The big strength here is versatility. These bars feel calmer during the day, when they can work as a coffee stop or a quieter place to sit down for a few minutes. At night, they shift into full cocktail-lounge mode with live music. That makes them some of the most flexible indoor bars on the class.
They also benefit from location. Since they sit right in the Galleria, they are surrounded by the movement and energy of the ship. On Meraviglia Class ships, the LED dome is one of the signature features of this area, and it helps give the whole promenade a lively, entertainment-driven feel. You are not just sitting in a bar – you are sitting in the middle of one of the ship’s busiest and most engaging evening spaces.
If Infinity Bar is where the evening begins, the Bar & Lounge venues are where you settle in and enjoy the atmosphere.

Edge Cocktail Bar on Meraviglia and Grandiosa
On MSC Meraviglia and MSC Grandiosa, Edge Cocktail Bar is one of the best pre-dinner drink spots on the ship.
Compared to Infinity Bar or the main Bar & Lounge, Edge feels a little more intimate and a little more deliberate. It is not trying to be the center of the party. Instead, it works best as a stylish cocktail stop where you go for one good drink before dinner or before a show.
That more focused feel is what makes it appealing. It is a good choice when you want something a little quieter and a little less exposed than the atrium. You still get the polished Meraviglia Class atmosphere, but in a setting that feels more like a proper cocktail lounge.
For a lot of cruisers, Edge is the kind of venue that becomes part of a routine. Dinner reservation at 7:30? Stop at Edge at 7:00, order something classic, and start the evening the right way.

Helios Wine Maker on Euribia
MSC Euribia changes the formula a bit.
Instead of Edge Cocktail Bar, Euribia has Helios Wine Maker, which gives this part of the ship a more modern and wine-focused identity. This is one of the clearest ship-specific differences within the class, and it helps Euribia stand out.
Helios is designed as an interactive wine venue, with digital tables that let guests explore the history, grape varieties, and wine regions behind what they are drinking. With around 100 wines featured, it is not just a place to order a glass and move on. It is meant to feel a little more immersive.
The vibe here is sophisticated, modern, and a little more curated than a standard bar. If Edge is a classic pre-dinner cocktail venue, Helios is a wine experience. For wine lovers, or for anyone who likes the idea of a bar that feels a little different from the norm, Helios is one of the most interesting indoor venues anywhere on Meraviglia Class.
Champagne Bar
Champagne Bar is the splurge pick.
Located on Deck 7 and overlooking the Galleria, it is the easiest bar in this group to describe as celebratory. This is the place to go when you want the evening to feel just a little more elevated. The menu leans into Champagne, Prosecco, and other sparkling wines, and the overall look and feel of the space is bright, polished, and intentionally upscale.
What also sets Champagne Bar apart is that it is not just about the drinks. It is also tied to a seafood-focused menu built around items like oysters, caviar, and other cold pairings. That gives it a more indulgent feel than the other bars nearby.
It is important to note, though, that the food here is not included in the drink package. Your beverage package may cover eligible drinks depending on what you ordered, but the seafood side of the experience is its own extra.
This is a good date-night bar, a special-occasion bar, or the kind of place you choose when you want vacation to feel a little more like vacation.

Which Bar Is Best?
The answer depends on what kind of evening you want.
If you want the classic atrium experience, Infinity Bar is the winner. It is central, lively, and wrapped into the most visually impressive part of the ship.
If you want the best all-around indoor cocktail stop, the Bar & Lounge venues on Deck 6 are probably the smartest choice. They are versatile, well-located, and easy to fit into almost any evening plan.
If you are sailing on Meraviglia or Grandiosa and want the best pre-dinner cocktail stop, Edge is hard to beat.
If you are on Euribia and wine is your thing, Helios Wine Maker is the most distinctive venue in the group.
And if you want the most upscale atmosphere, Champagne Bar stands on its own.
Final Thoughts
MSC Meraviglia Class handles indoor bars really well because it does not rely on just one venue to carry the evening. Instead, it spreads the experience across the atrium and Galleria, giving each bar a slightly different role.
That is good news for passengers. It means you can match the venue to your mood. Want something lively and central? Go to Infinity Bar. Want a polished cocktail before dinner? Try Edge. Want sparkling wine and a celebratory feel? Head to Champagne Bar. Want a more modern wine experience on Euribia? Helios is your stop.
On a big ship, those distinctions matter. And on Meraviglia Class, they are one of the reasons the indoor evening atmosphere feels so strong.
